Throughout this week, I have began to assemble the final design project. The giant body of the cleaner has finally finished printing. With that I was then able to begin to assemble the final draft. I started off by first laser cutting various pieces to that needed to be attached. Firstly, I cut out the bottom section of the body, this part is essential to the entire project. This is what is used to mount the motor in place, besides just this it also allows the casters to be connected. These casters are essential to the entire project as they provide the support and stabilization necessary to effectively use the cleaner in action. This stabilization provides ample load across the entire bottom plate and prevents the motor from freezing up under increase pressure to one given side.

After completing the top plate I next, moved onto working on the bottom plate the spins with the motor. Firstly, I had to cut out the brand new acrylic panel in the laser cutter. After this was complete I then worked on stripping the Velcro off of the wooden prototype to take off the metal motor connector, lastly I attached this metal attachment to the brand new bottom panel and mounted it to the motor.

The final thing that I have been working on this week is 3d printing to handle for the design. However sadly after attempting twice to print it on one of our older 3d printer models I new that it was only possible with our newer printer was occupied at the time. Sadly again while writing this the students in the electrical vocational shop are doing work in that area preventing me from being able to finish the print. Hopefully, I will have my chance on Friday to finish the print and begin works on the PCB. I am looking forward to the completion of my project soon.
