This week, we again were cut short to only two working days due to the heavy snow over last weekend. During my time in the shop this week, I first finalized my updated tread design, making sure the grousers were the right, shape, width, and height for the new design. After, I ensured that the new thickness was correct and I that I could begin the final print. Before I started the print however, I worked with Mr. L again to help set up the filament once again. As the TPU is being printed externally, we had to follow the process to set it back up.

Trying to thread the filament to the nozzle can be tedious and does not always work immediately, this time, it required us to work for a while to ensure all of the old PLA filament had been cleared, and the correct settings were on to allow it to be printed correctly. After many attempts and attaching the filament straight into the nozzle without using the tube, I began the new print. As of now I am waiting to see how the result turns out, hopefully leading to the final required design for the treads.
