Week of 10/14

This week I focused on getting all of the components of my cleaner together in front of me to start assembling the finished product. Firstly, I 3d printed the updated attachment for the bottom of the motor. Which turned out to fit the new motor snugly. After this I modeled the motor onto CAD as I wanted to make sure I had the exact dimensions to adjust any other parts of my design in future steps in case any part was too small or large. Once this was complete I changed my direction to the machine job where I cut off the end of the motor which I wanted to make smaller for a better fit onto the 3d printed attachment. During this same time I realized the motor was old and was not running smoothly so a found a different variation which is what I cut. However on top of this I also had to solder new wires to it as none had been attached. Which brings us to the end of the short week.
