This week I spent most of my time making the final adjustments to cad before making all of the new and updated pieces for the suspension. This mainly entailed fixing certain constraints and breaking apart and combining various models. Once this was complete I next transferred over to begin creating each of the new parts. I first started with 3d printing all of the new joints which did not take long to finish. After this I had to adjust the length of the differential legs to account for the steeper angle of the suspension legs, along with this I also had to adjust to hole on the suspension connecting the two together. This prompted me to laser cut brand new suspension legs connecting to the differential which turned out to take little to no time.

With all of these new pieces cut and printed, I hope to finish the new assembly for the suspension tomorrow. Along with this updated design, I am also ordering new wheels online instead of trying to build my own, these wheels are far more sturdy, have better traction, and will overall do a far superior job at completing the many tasks that I want my rover to accomplish. By next week, I hope to be able to test out the new design, I will be able to see any other issues the rover may face and will be able to make to take the next steps forward in the creation of my project.
