Week of 11/12

This week I continued work on using the higher torque motor. However before I got into this I first wanted to make some adjustments with the CAD. For the project I was thinking of possible issues later on in the design process when I realized that I needed to better create a place to get inside of the cleaner when attaching the motor and PCB. After realizing this I redesigned the top of the cleaner and made the handle act the same way a lid would. Giving me access to the electronics from the top which will save me far more time and effort later on in the project.

After making these adjustments I next went on to drilling the attachment that connected the motor to the bottom piece. This was because after drilling it the first time it still was not big enough to fully house the motor. With this complete I will now go on to testing the new motor with it hopefully being a good fit.
