At the start of my week I first worked on tweaking the design for the bottom piece of my cleaner that attaches to my motor. I made the attachment wider to give more overall stability, but also to better allow for the 3d printer to print the piece. This week both of the main 3d printers were taken and there was a large line for the printer, so it took a while for me to print my piece.
While I was waiting for the print to finish I also worked on adjusting to base of my design in cad to fit the widened size of my attachment. After this task was complete I then laser cut the updated base in wood and attached the motor.
After the 3d print was done I attached the bottom piece to the motor and cut away at the edges to allow it to fit in perfectly. Finally with all the components of the prototype assembled, I lastly attached adhesive Velcro to the bottom to allow me to attach different items, like sponges, cloths, and brushes. I hope to be able to bring in a sponge to school with me this Friday after Rosh Hashanah to test finally test my prototype.
