This week I first started by working on methods of waterproofing my motors and overall design. I was able to find a few ideas the should be good for later on in the project. Next, I began to think was ways of better stabilizing the bottom piece. I realized that trying to use a massive bearing would be difficult and annoying; especially to adjust the entire design to fit it. Instead I thought back to a previous project in which we used castors. I took this new idea and tweaked the sizing, which I then added into the project. I think this will serve as a far cheaper and overall more efficient system for my project across the board.

Besides this I also work of the connecting motor mount piece which I had recently widened the top to fit the larger motor, however the motor was unable to fit in snugly. The large plate blocking me to be able to screw in the set screw, I needed to re-drill and tap the hole to hold a larger set screw which could fit the sizes for our shops large Allen keys. After fixing this in the machine shop I was finally able to properly attach the motor in place, and will be very helpful moving forward in the project.
