This week I was able to make a lot of progress in my project. To start the week I began with working on my trying to wrap up and complete my work on the electronics for my project. I started by going back and retracing each of my steps. I wanted to ensure that everything was working properly so I get get the correct signals transmitting. After tinkering with various aspects of the code that effected what pins would interact with the Nrf24l01, I was able to get it transmitting across a new pin

After this was complete my final step in completing the electronics and code involved getting BOTH of the motors running completely wirelessly. At first one of the motors was unresponsive to the transmission when moving the joystick down, however after trouble shooting the breadboard I found that one of the jumper wires connecting to the digital pins was connected to the wrong port. After fixing this, the motors worked perfectly and it left me completely done with the electronics portion of the project (for now).

The final aspect of this week was with starting my CAD design. Going into the design I had a very rough idea of what I wanted to create for the rover. However before I was able to completely able to create it I wanted to learn more about the various aspects of a good rover design to make it successful. After looking at various different designs, I decided that using a system with the rocker-bogie suspension would be an effective design and allow the rover to be very resilient to different terrains. After learning this I started creating my design for the rover with me creating the initial joint for the suspension to attach to.
