This week I continued to take many steps in the creation of the Rover. This week I mainly focused on two main aspects. In he first part of my week, I ran into and issue which I realized I needed to figure out. This issue regarded how I was going to attach the motors to the PCB. My main thought process was that a normal wire may get pulled to hard or even ripped out due to the moving suspension. Which is a very important aspect of it as it needs to adjust to what is underneath it. For this, I decided that I would use some form of coiled wire which I could solder onto the motors, this would allow for far more give on the wire and ensure that it will not come off as the rover is driving.

The second, and main thing that I spent my time on this week was creating the differential for the suspension. This part is very crucial to the overall design of the rover and a key part in ensuring that the main body of the rover has 2 points of stability. With only one point at which it can be stable (the joint) the main body could freely move in any direction and would to work. With the differential, it will also allow for the rover to always have to tires remain in contact with the ground; when one side of the suspension goes up, the other side goes down to compensate overall making it a key part of the rover and something it could not be used without.
